"These pendant lights are absolutely beautiful in my kitchen! What a transformation!! They look like I paid a fortune. But, I couldn't believe how reasonably priced they were. I took another reviewer's advice and used zip ties to tighten the hold on the wrapped cord, which worked wonderfully. The adjustability is a bonus too. One of the pendants is above my counter, so hangs lower. But the other is above my sink, so it is hanging higher to the ceiling. It took less than 10 minutes to put both up. They look like the real thing, but took so much less effort and cost much less than wired pendant lights. I couldn't be happier!!"

"We used this light to convert a can light over our kitchen sink. It was super easy to install and looks great! My only surprise was how long the glass shade was. I was trying to match it to my current island lighting, but I guess I can just switch out the shades in the future. Would certainly recommend this item!"

"Love this light. We installed it in our powder room and it really finished off the space. Plus, it dimmed the light just enough to not feel like you were on a runway. Great value - price at HDC was atleast 1/2 of other online stores. The pic makes the light look whiter than it actually is - it gives off a warm glow not bright white light."

"So happy with the new look over the island... easy to install. Found it best to let hang overnight then push the top plate to ceiling after cord had a chance to stretch and was a bit more pliable. Especially nice with the addition of the pendant light accessory."

"These lights are wonderful. I have these over my kitchen island and I can finally see what I'm doing. It is amazing how much brighter my kitchen is and they have given it a more finished look. I'm having a little trouble with the cover staying on so I think I'll use a little glue to keep them in place."

"I purchased 4 of these for my kitchen to hang over my island and I love them!! They were fairly easy to install and I really like the way they changed the look of my kitchen! It has a warmer feel to it and I have had many positive comments from friends and family! It took me a little time to figure out winding the excess cord around the bar so that the plate would stay flush to the ceiling, but once I mastered that they were great! I would definitely recommend these!"

"I made one change to the install. It is difficult to get the cable to stay wound around the post used to adjust the cable length. I instead put a zip tie around the post and cable, then tightened it just enough to hold the cable against the post which made adjusting the length much easier. After I got all three lights at the same length, I tightened the zip tie holding the cable against the post and then added another zip tie around the cable above the post where the cable goes into the socket creating a loop. The 'loop' of cable fits neatly inside the can. I had all three lights adjusted for length and installed in about 20 minutes."

"I saw these pendants first at another website for almost double the price. I didn't purchase them because I didn't like the shade choices. I came upon these and really liked the choices. They arrived within 5 days and I put them up (all 4 of them) while my husband was at a meeting. They were easy to install and look like hardwired pendants. The real beauty of these is that if I tire of them in the future I can easily return to can lights (but why would I?!)"

"Bought two of these pendant conversion kits for an area between between my dining & living room. They have really made an "eh" area "WOW!" The bronze matches the other bronze accents in the living room, and the shades match the shade in the dining room. These were a great selection!"
