Great Rug, So-So Runner

"I bought this rug as a 4' x 6' foyer rug and another 12' x 3' runner. I really love the texture the rug brings to my entryway. We have a loose nautical theme & this natural fiber really adds a great base texture. The pile is very thick 1.5", but NOT soft or squishy underfoot. The chain-stitch is sort of a loose weave, so you can see bits of are floor through the rug, which I don't mind, but is good to know before purchasing.
The runner on the other hand is very curled at the edges due to the thickness of the pile and the shortness in length (3'.) I would have returned it, but free-return-shipping is not offered.
I ordered the Natural color and would say it is much darker than pictured. It looks like the Dark Natural option in the description."

Hi is there a way you could take a photo of this rug on your floor, I'm curious on both the color and how much of the floor underneath you can see. I'd be buying the 8x11 so could be a costly mistake if it doesn't work for me. Thank you so much!

"I hesitated to purchase this rug after owning natural fiber rugs in the past that were very rough underfoot.
I'm so glad that I took the risk, this one is not bad at all. The chain stitch is quite plush and adds a nice cushion to your step.
I've only had it about 2 weeks and some of the weave is starting to come up in places, so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time, but for now I am happy with this purchase."
