Not Cream, it's Green!

"Not as pictured!
My issue is ... the clock face is not cream/ivory colored ... it definitely has green undertones to it. It's an unflattering off color and it doesn't blend in nicely against my tan walls ... considering the large size of this clock, it's like having a large green blob on your wall. It just doesn't match my decor. I wish that the clock face is ivory like the picture online!
Otherwise, the clock is a nice size. It's easy to hang. It's cute and has a French / Farmhouse chic look to it. I do like the metal bronze color and the little bird on top. It has also been keeping time well without any issues of the hands getting stuck.
Thankfully I bought this item on sale.
I usually love HDC items, but this one missed the mark.

"There was no doubt in my mind when I saw this clock on hdc.com that this is The One for my family room. And now its hanging on my wall I Love everything about this clock, the color, and the oval shape, the bird on top is a charming touch. "It truly is a center of intention, because of its size and is perfectly place in the center of a wall. Your eye is drawn to it. The metal is very sturdy and hangs well. Have received compliments and requests where I bought it. Have not seen anything like it in the stores. Online shopping is great!"

"I was a little disappointed in the mottling on the sides, which were not visible in the online picture. The clock face is slightly blurred as well. In the end, however, it does looks gorgeous in my foyer, so I'm very happy!"

"IT TOOK OVER THREE MONTHS TO RECEIVE THIS CLOCK AFTER OUR INITIAL ORDER AND THERE WERE TIMES ALONG THE WAY THAT I ALMOST CANCELED OUT OF PURE FRUSTRATION. "I just love this clock. Large size is great, really has a presence in the room. Love the brown color, bonus was the rust orange flecks of color showing through, just the right amount of a rustic look, yet still looking elegant chic. The little bird is too cute ! Got at a great sale price. Have received compliments. And very easy to hang, managed all by myself. Very good quality, not cheap looking at all. Had for a few months now, keeps great time."

"I looked for quite some time at retail stores to find a clock that was relatively large with a substantial presence. I could never find exactly what I hoped for. I decided to try this one to see. "This clock looks like I just bought it at a Parisian antique market. Wouldn't that have been nice!
In lieu of a trip to France, however, I went shopping at Home Decorators. Voila! Found my decorating desire quickly fulfilled - much less expensive that an airline ticket, too.
Positioned as the focal point within a grouping of artwork on my tall living room wall, the charming Traits De Plume Wall Clock has immediately become a "conversation piece" with everyone who enters the room.
It adds a pop of drama to the room ,while still enhancing the cozy Country French flair we enjoy. The little bird perched at the top adds great personality. The clock is of high quality and the mechanism is totally quiet! It keeps perfect time. The dark metal casing has been antiqued in a rusty color using a "sponging" technique.
Well-packaged, it arrived in perfect shape. The only flaw, which is reflected in my star rating above, is a small piece of paper that is inside the casing. It dropped to the bottom when I hung the clock and is not visible now. I'll not try to take off cover to remove it. It would only be visible if the clock were hung much lower.
I am delighted with my "touch" of France."
