"....When I first saw this, I thought it was a great novelty to have a multi-zone clock that actually works. It arrived packaged very well, and it is actually a quite weighty piece. It also came with mounting hardware, which was great. Sold metal, with whimsical chicken-wire background, a great attention-grabber. Has 2 solid hooks at the base.
The actual design is fabulous. Howvever, the timepiece mechanisms are cheap, cheap, cheap !!
I can't believe they put dollar-store quality mechanisms into this piece. The hands are incredibly fragile, and fell down when trying to set the time. The plastic that houses the battery is so flimsy, you need alot of care just to place the battery. I had to manually tighten the hands just to allow the clock to keep time. If you have the time and inclination, you could probably go to a craft store to replace the hands/battery case, but
for this price, it should be MUCH BETTER quality than it is. I have decided that if the clocks stop working, it will still make a nice decor piece, but it is a shame to put such cheapo parts into this, as it would truly be worth buying, as it is such a unique multi-zone clock. My guess is that the metal frame and base were manufactured from an entirely separate company that created the shoddy clock parts. Looks cute, though, hanging on my wall."
