"I am not sure why the description says "aged metal". It is made of some kind of metal, but instead of the numbers and lettering being painted on, it is some kind of print. Even the aged spots are printed on. It is like they printed the whole image and adhered it to the metal. Then it has a gloss coating over all of it. So when you touch the spots that look rusted, it is smooth, and just an image. That being said, it still gives the look, and I do like it. But I got it on a sale with free shipping. I would not consider it at full price."

"This clock arrived promptly and was packaged extremely well. It's large & easy to read. You can hear the clock ticking but it's a very light/soft sound and is not bothersome."
