"The fan arrived undamaged. I was glad since the box was pretty beat up, but the foam packaging protected it. It is awkward to assemble by yourself because the parts are heavy and it is hard to get the threads lined up. The other problem I had with assembly is that the power cord was too long coming through the body of it and there was a connector to the base that would not allow me to pull any more cord out the bottom. The cord is thick and stiff and it was almost impossible to stuff it down the tube and get the fan screwed onto the upright post, but I did it!
The fan itself is really a nice object to have in the room. I have always struggled with this as I am a person who likes to have the air moving but the regular fans you buy are not suitable to leave out all the time. This one is. It has 3 speeds and oscillates if you like. The fan can also be tipped and tilted with a screw knob that locks it into what position you want.
All in all I am pleased with this and very glad that I decided to splurge and buy it."
