"These are not well made. Someone decided the ornament caps needed to be adhered with some kind of clear, sticky adhesive, and it was dripped all over the outside of my ornaments. One of the internal clips would not have held without the adhesive. I was able to clean most of it off though, and I had an extra cap to replace the defective one. The ornaments are also pretty transparent, but that may be an advantage with the tree lights on. But the seams on each side of the glass are very obvious too."

"When I saw these owls I just had to have them. I use to collect owls years ago. I have started a new collection now. The ornaments look antique like. I love the mercury glass these are made of. Your company takes extra care to ship fragile things. I can't wait to put the tree up for Christmas. Thanks"

"We purchased these ornaments on sale after Christmas. They are even prettier in person. The glass seems thick enough that they will not break easily like some ornaments. My husband is a Rice grad so owls are huge in our household. We are extremely pleased with the purchase."

"I was so disappointed when I received the mercury glass owls. They are almost transparent. There seems to be very little of the silver coating. In my experience, mercury glass is mostly silverish with some bare spots. The owl ornaments are mostly bare (clear) with a little silvering. Not what I expected or what the photos showed. I bought them at 40% off, so will keep instead of returning."
