I have owned this product for:a week
one big drawback

"This waste can is attractive and works great. However, I had to send it back. The reason is that I wanted it for under the sink. Unfortunately, the proximity of the plumbing was too close to the sensor, so the lid would not close when located there. I had no other space to locate the can in that room."
