I must say, the experience was just great and I've bought from them a couple of times more.
Tree of Life is as good as advertised. Initial product sent had a broken frame but customer service took care of it in a timely fashion and sent me a new one w/c is perfect. Great craftsmanship, works well w/ our rustic theme."

"I have received two of these pictures and both have been defective. The black product used to paint the tree has been cracked and chipping off both. I am waiting for a third and if it is not any better, I give up. If the product would not be defective, I would give it more stars because it is a neat piece. Fingers crossed..."

"I really like the wall hanging and would have given it 5 stars had it not been damaged in shipping. A couple pieces were dislodged and I had to glue them back on. Customer service was very helpful, however, and did give me a 10% credit on my bill. Otherwise a great piece!"

"This is a very attractive, sturdy and HEAVY piece of art. I do have one important word of caution, though. The wood slats to which the tree image is affixed are attached to a frame made of MDF (medium density fiberboard). If you are not familiar with MDF, be advised that it does not hold screws or nails very well. The frame comes with two standard small metal hangers attached to opposite sides of the top rail of the frame. Each of these hangers is attached to the MDF frame with very short (1/2") screws. On my item, one screw in each had already been pulled out during handling or shipment. I was able to pull both hangers completely off with just a minor force. In other words, the factory-applied hangers WILL NOT HOLD this wall panel; they will eventually - if not immediately - get pulled out by the weight of the panel alone.
There are two solutions to the problem that you can implement. One is to replace the factory screws with much longer ones (1-1/4" to 1-1/2").This will require drilling pilot holes. Another option - and the one I chose - is to glue (with quality wood glue) a real-wood cleat below the top rail of the frame and attach the hangers to it.
If you are not equipped to implement either solution, then I suggest you not purchase this item unless you plan on setting it on top of a piece of furniture rather than hanging it on a wall."
