"This is a very massive piece of furniture. I was impressed by the complete absence of shake and wobble. It's also quite nice looking, well finished, and matches my decor just fine. Assembly and moving the table is a two person job. It seats six comfortably; I haven't had occasion to use the included leaf yet.
I'm quite happy with this purchase."

"This piece really looks good and, for us, really works well. Its style is pleasing, its color is rich, and its size is comfortable (it ‘fills’ the center of our dining room and still leaves space all around for smaller furnishings as well as for people to move easily). I was concerned that the center bracing board might be an obstacle, but it's not at all. However I didn't expect that the facing boards on the sides would actually prevent one from crossing legs under the table. That was a slight disappointment. And when the leaf is out, tall people sitting at either end will find their knees up against the side frame. When the leaf is in, that's a non-issue. The 42" x 72" surface is big enough to take a nice decorative centerpiece, hold the serving dishes, and allow for a comfortable setting for diners. Adding the 18" leaf is easy and it fits like a glove. The single groove that goes around the entire table is attractive, but a bit of an irritant because it collects crumbs. And it really looks good !
The packaging was terrific - lots of protection to assure delivery without damage. Assembly was very simple but shouldn't be done alone. This thing is heavy and large."

"After recently moving to Oak Park, IL (the heart of all things Frank Lloyd Wright) I was in need of a new dining room table. I do most of my looking online but still need to see and touch items before I buy them and am fortunate to have two store locations nearby. This is a well manufactured table and I know it will last a very long time. I got it at an amazing price. It gives me that mission style/FLW look but not at the FLW price! I gave the assembly a moderate rating simply because the piece is heavy and needs two people (even though I did it myself) but other than that it was extremely easy to assemble."

"This is a solid table, but you must be willing to overlook how shoddily it is made. The leaves simply do not line up correctly. Even though I was lucky to buy it at a great discount, I would have returned it if it weren't for the fact that the top of the table came in a 150-pound box for which I had to make a 4-hour appointment to have it delivered. I just couldn't bring myself to go through the hassle of exchanging it."
