"I purchased this item and received it quickly. The directions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble. It matched my exsisting furniture perfectly, you can't tell that it isn't part of the set that was purchased together. I probably will buy another one in the future for another room."

"The corner TV stand is perfect for our family room and readily accommodates the 50" TV and three components below. I bought the open style so that I could put the DVD player, DVR and home theater receiver inside the unit. It has worked out great! The assembly was tricky since the cam bolts had to be screwed in to just the right depth, without being over tightened, or else the cams would not properly engage. Once that was figured out, the job became easier."

"For the money these on-line pieces of furniture are hard to beat. The assembly has its frustrations - I shattered a couple of those lock nuts and some things didn't quite match up the way they should - but at the end of the day it is sturdy and looks great in our family room."

"I was surprised with the quality of the stand. Better than I expected. Real wood veneer. The bolt locks did not seem to lock all the way, but after it was all together, it seemed to be fine. Looks smaller than I expected, but does the job."

"i ordered the tv stand with the drawers and really like the look and quality of the stand. it's a very solid and stable stand, plus i've received a lot of compliments on the looks. Assembly took some time, but it wasn't hard, just time consuming. Any stand will most likely require assembly, so you just need to prepare yourself going into it."

"This corner TV console is perfect for our media room. Even though it has to be assembled, once it's put together it looks like a regular high-quality piece of furniture, good and solid. Assembly was fairly easy -- I'm a 50-something year old woman and I had no trouble doing it myself. The directions are clear and easy to understand. I did use some wood glue with each of the dowels for extra sturdiness, which helped a lot and is worth the effort. As for overall size, it's just a little smaller than I had envisioned, even after measuring the 48" width, but I still love it. It looks terrific with matching coffee table and two end tables which I also bought."

"When you finally finish the assembly, this is a nice product. Getting to that point is an ordeal. We believed we had ordered the "open" cabinet, but instead what we got was the cabinet with drawers. Good thing we didn't want the drawers because parts were missing needed to assemble them.
The packing of the boxes is literally a Chinese jigsaw puzzle, so you can forget getting the parts back in the box to ship back. After figuring out how to make the "drawers" cabinet into the "open" cabinet because I knew we were stuck with what we had, I began what ultimately became a 4 1/2 hour project. I'm very good at these sorts of assembly projects but this one was not easy. The directions are slightly out of sequence and that only becomes clear once you are in the various steps. Also you are going to need additional tools to make this right. There are design errors such as the back of the cabinet only has one hole for wires, so it was a good thing I own a jigsaw !! Ultimatley I'm happy with the unit but it was a real pain to assemble, largely because they shipped me the wrong parts and I had to adapt them to make it work, and I had to "customize" the parts to make them serve the intended purpose. Do not buy this unit unless you are good with tools and assembly."

BEAUTIFUL CABINET--SLIGHT GLITCH W/DRAWER HARDWARE

"This is a very attractive cabinet with lots of room for my 40" flat screen TV, my DVD and Roku player. Easy to assemble. ONE SLIGHT GLITCH: I ordered the cabinet with drawers so I could keep the remotes away from my dogs. Well, everything BUT the drawer hardware was in the box. I immediately contacted the company. The response was instantaneous, but it took over two weeks to receive the drawer hardware which was disappointing since I received the cabinet shipment in less than a week. In spite of the "bump in the road", I'm still happy with my purchase and would buy from HDC again."

"The workmanship was good where there was no damage but the damage was in three different areas as the assemply took place. One drawer had been wood puttied in the inside and another drawer had a broken piece where the bottom slid into and the top of the unit had a chip out of the end (whici I could repair with a colored stick). The overall unit is very nice but has three repairs made by us."

"This is the 3rd piece of furniture I've ordered in the last 18 mos. I am pleased with the way that it looks but of the 3 it was the most difficult to assemble. There was difficulty with some of the locking bolts. One predrilled hole was done incorrectly and when tightening the bolt, it cracked through the other side. Fortunately it's on the inside of the dvd shelf at the back, so it cannot be seen."

"My husband and I ordered this TV stand for our new house. The order process was simple, and the stand shipped almost immediately (I ordered on a Saturday; it shipped Monday morning). All pieces arrived in pristine condition. I assembled this myself; I'm by no means an engineer, nor am I very strong, but it wasn't bad at all. My husband had to help me lift it just a few times to switch it around and get certain pieces together. It took me about 3 hours, but would have taken less time if I didn't have a small dog trying to 'help' every few minutes. One of the doors is slightly off-center, but I imagine I'm the only one who will notice it, being the one who put it together. It is gorgeous! Love the color, love the style, it's sturdy, it's great! We'll definitely order from HDC again."
