"I really like the final product once the desk was put together but it took my husband a weekend to do it. About 4 hours on Saturday and another 4 hours on Sunday. It looks good and matches our decor so we are happy with it!"

"I have yet to install this desk, as I am waiting until I move in June. The desk is extremely heavy, which makes me think it will be very sturdy. I think this is a great value for an executive desk. The desk is finished from all sides allowing you to have it be in the middle of the room. I can't speak to how difficult assembly will be, but from what other have said, i'm sure difficult. I did check the pieces for any damage, and it was sufficiently wrapped, so there appeared to be no damage."

"The instructions for assembly were good except I had trouble determining which piece went to the front or to the back of the unit; for example, I had to turn the doors around because I had them upside down and they didn't close easily. I did the assembly by myself and it took me 8 hours. With help it would have gone more smoothly. Overall, the directions were pretty easy to follow."

"It is such a beautiful piece of furniture, I also have the TV stand to match and I am very well please with both pieces. My only complaint is that I wish it had more than one shelf. I like my keyboard on the desk so I am using the tray as a utility drawer."

"Unless you have a couple days to assembly this, do not get it. I did it alone, but it took two days and probably 4-5 hours (though I am not a professional). EVERY little thing has to be put together. It reeks of chemical, wonder how long it will take for that to go away. I was missing parts, I hope they send otherwise I won't have 2 drawers. I liked the style and the price, but would not do it again. No matter how hard I tried, there's still gaps between everything, too. But it's up now and I will probably leave it if I ever move."
