"I wanted a small table to put in front of a living room window and this fits the bill perfectly. The height lies somewhere between a sit-able bench and a table, which means it's too tall for sitting, but just right for my windowsill."

"I purchased matching pieces about a year ago. This piece does not "match" the other industrial empire pieces. The wood grain is different as well as the color. It's a good bench overall, but does not match table or console."

"It is a simple, nice looking bench. I actually use it as a narrow table beneath a window; it is higher than most benches as it is designed for a pub height table. It is not an especially expensive confection, so I can't give it 5 stars, but it looks good and I expect will last well.
I had no problem assembling it but then I rarely have a problem with assembly unless pieces aren't properly made. I like the bench well enough that I am actually buying the table too. It will be in a different room; maybe someday I'll use them together."

"Great looking bench. I bought the pub set with the two matching stools. Judging by the width of the stools I visualized the bench being wider as well but it is the opposite, it is rather thin. It gets scratched very easily too but overall it looks great as a set."
