"This desk is very simple but looks great in our living room. It was very easy to put together, one person is all you need. Took about 15 minutes total. Only time will tell if the desk top will hold up or not. It seems to scratch easily."

"I bought this for my husband's office along with the Industrial Empire TV stand; only that one is being used as a shelf for the fax and printer. It's the same height as this desk and they work well together to form an L-shaped work space. Very sturdy furniture for the price, easy to assemble and they look more expensive than what I paid for them. I love it!"

Simple table with style

"I bought this desk to put in the corner of my kitchen -- told hold both of my sons' computers (so I can keep an eye on them while they surf). I wanted a table that was stylish and minimal since it is out in the open for all to see. This desk fits that bill. It was easy to put together -- is sturdy enough for 2 desktops -- and looks nice in my eat in kitchen next to our large kitchen table. I highly recommend it. The only thing that is missing is a shelf to put the printer. But I'm willing to put the printer in the other room to keep the clutter to a minimum. So - I'm very happy with the desk.
I should also mention that when it was delivered - I saw our delivery person literally wheel it to door on a dolly and toss it on the floor. Large crashing noise and dented box! (Yes, the box is marked "fragile".. too). But this desk was WELL PACKED and survived the journey unscathed! I sure hope this isn't the regular "delivery method" I can expect in the future from this guy.....yikes."

"Love this desk. The only thing I don't love is that i had to get a desk protector mat, because when i wrote with a pen (on paper, on the desk) it made indentions in the desktop. Not a biggie, and a benefit of having a real wood top, I guess."

"A great desk! It was smaller than I thought but a perfect little desk for working. I managed to fit a laptop, an external monitor, a keyboard, speakers, and some other small items on it. I love the design of the wood and metal.
It was easy enough to assemble, except that some of the holes for attaching the legs to the table did not line up with eachother. I found the best way to do it was to screw in the misaligned screw first and the other two after. Such a great deal, well worth the price, it is a sturdy desk!"

"The desk comes 4 pieces: the top, right and left sides, and a crossbar. All the screws are the exact same size. I started putting the desk together with ease. In less that 2 min, I had assembled all the parts except the crossbar. THIS is when it got hairy.
For some reason, the pre-drilled holes in the crossbar were much smaller than the other holes. So small that the screw couldn't even go through. At this point, I had to get my drill out and slowly bore out the holes. I was afraid I'd bore them out too much so I spent the next 45 MINUTES drilling a little, then trying the screw. Drilling, trying, drilling, trying...
Needless to say I was extremely frustrated that I had spent a good amount of money for a relatively simple desk and they couldn't even pre-drill the holes to the correct size.
After all that, the desk is fine. Seems sturdy and it looks nice. But the experience just left a sour taste in my mouth."

"I needed something clean and modern looking to keep my home office looking professional and these fit the bill so well - I ordered another one. Assembly doesn't get any easier. They are sturdy and are doing well with my multi-monitor setup. My only complaint would be the packaging - styrofoam is still all over my garage but it's the price to pay to get it here undamaged I guess..."

"Ordered this item to use as a desk and work/craft table for a small room. The assembly was really, really easy. The table size works great in smaller spaces/homes yet is big enough for a laptop computer and medium size desk lamp and I still have room on both sides of the computer for papers, stuff, etc. The desk is sturdy and no wobling. The desk top color is a warm red and looks great with my oak floors, brown painted walls and other antique items in the room. I ordered this item with the chair(Samantha side chair) that was pictured in the catalog and they work very well together. The desk and the chair are great."

"Table was extremely easy to put together - came in three pieces (table top, two side leg panels) and they fit together well. Wood is a nice mahogany finish and is solid with an attractive grain pattern.
Overall classy looking piece but a bit simple in design/appearance for the price it is currently, but with a discount it's fine."
