"I ordered this table for our breakfast room. It came a week earlier than was estimated, which was great. I was very impressed with how well it was packaged - inside the outer box it was crated and wrapped very well. There was no damage at all. I think the color is very pretty, perhaps a little more brown than I expected (the photos looked like it was going to be a little more gray). The table has a nice heavy weight and seems to be very well-built. The size is nice and big and will easily fit at least 6 people comfortably. I'm giving 4 stars because I think the tabletop is only an oak veneer, not a solid oak top. I also thought the finish would be a little more distressed, but it is actually quite smooth and has a sheen. Nevertheless I do like the table and I hope it will stand up to the abuse of my 2-year old (he will take care of distressing it for me!). And of course this was such a great value, I'm impressed I was able to get such a large solid table for this kind of price."

"Great table for the money. Beautiful color and finish. Restoration hardware look for a fraction of the price. Possibly the best deal I've ever gotten. :)"
