"Perhaps my expectations were too high but this rug was a letdown. From the web picture, I was expecting a pure ivory background with clear colors in the floral design but can only describe the actual rug as a dingy, dishwater-grey with the design lacking the vibrancy I hoped for. In some places the bare backing shown through and some of the stitching seemed haphazard. Even at 5'x8', the rug weighed a ton and I had no intention of returning it -- plus it was going under a dining room table and the imperfections wouldn't show. On the positive side, it is a pretty design; also very thick and comfortable to walk on. And even as dull as it seemed at first, it is still brighter than the rug it replaced and thus does lighten up the dining room. I am a huge fan of HDC and have loved everything else I've ever ordered from them, so maybe this will grow on me eventually."
