"Bought these to serve as extra seating with our Queen Anne dinning set to avoid guests sitting on uncushioned and unmatched chairs. They are smaller versions and blend well. Incredibly sturdy, free-standing when folded for storage and seem well made. Folding/unfolding mechanism is difficult as stated in other reviews but probably adds to the sturdiness of the chair. Great value for two."

"I just bought two more of these chairs. They really are nice and I am looking forward to hosting the next family holiday. One reviewer noted they are hard to open. They do not open like other folding chairs. There are picture instructions on the underside of the seat but you need some strength to do it the way they suggest. The trick seems to be to pull the top away from the seat (easy), turn the chair upside-down, and then, using the cross bars on the legs, pull the legs apart front to back."

"I was looking for folding chairs that would be more comfortable than the old-school wooden ones we have, but were still narrower than regular dining chairs. "I saw these chairs over 6 years ago in a catalog that was mailed to me, and knew I wanted to get these chairs to go with my formal dining table for extra seating for entertaining. I am so glad I bought these! They look absolutely beautiful with my current "Queen Anne" style vintage chairs....in fact, I maybe even like these better!! The only reason I gave them 4 stars overall was because they are a little challenging to open, but once you get the hang of it, they seem easier to open. Love them!!"

"I purchased these chairs for extra seating at our dining table. We move around a lot and I did not want more of our formal dining chairs which take up considerable space. These chairs look a lot like our formal ones (although a little smaller), and our first guests did not even notice they were different. I love the fact that we can put these away in a closet until we need them. I like them so much that I ordered 2 more chairs. And, I'm using one at our desk to give my husband much needed leg room."

"I love these chairs for entertaining large groups around my dining room table--the chairs my table came with are too wide for large groups. This is my second purchase of these chairs and I love them! They stand when folded up , which makes storage so easy, and don't take up much room. The fabric on the seats cleans up easily if needed."

"My son-in-law's size 12 foot accidentally kicked one of the Queen Anne chairs I had already purchased and broke the leg on it. I reordered (only unfortunate = had to order 2, could not get just 1), and the two replacement chairs were exact matches of the broken one. The fabrics were even perfect matches for the two chairs I had previously purchased over two years ago. Order, shipment and delivery was expedient. Everything went perfectly!"

"I love these chairs. I have had a new room added to my house and wanted to be able to entertain without having a dining room. I found a fold down table that will fit nicely and these chairs match perfectly. I can store them when not in use and have enough for all to come and dine. They are much more comfortable than your everyday folding chair."

"I waited for a sale and free shipping before purchasing the chairs and the wait was definitely worth it. They are sturdy chairs and very attractive. Other reviewers have complained they are hard to open, but if yo follow the instructions they are not hard at all. I plan to purchase two more."
