"Absolutely love this chair. Upon arrival, the colors are not quite as bright as shown in the picture, but still love it. Yes, it is on the small side, but hey, I'm 5'1" so it fits me perfectly! It's not designed to be an everyday comfy chair, but that's not what I'll be using it for anyway, just light reading when I actually have a chance to sit down!"

Hard seat. Had to fix leg.

"Color, material and style were what I wanted and expected. The seat, however, is very hard for an upholstered chair. Not comfortable. Only hope it will 'break in' with time.
The big problem was that it was wobbly when assembled. The legs were all the right length and screwed in easily--it was the base of the chair itself that was off kilter (shorter on one corner by 1/2 inch).
My husband is handy, though, and cut out a square 1/2 in piece of wood, drilled a hole in it, painted it black and added it to the top of one of the legs. Won't buy chairs from HDC again."

Three-legged chair

"Chairs were returned, as they were too shallow (front-to-back) for comfortable seating. One leg "bound" while being inserted, would not go in or out, nut assembly apparently stripped, and only way to remove leg for return shipping was to cut the bolt with a hacksaw. Easiest part of return was good service by United Parcel Service. Chair upholstery and appearance was good, but leg assembly needs attention, as I would guess the "nut" part is a self-threading piece of metal."

"i bought two in flax, they are very small and perfect if you have an area that needs dressing up. not sure about the durability factor, but i'm not using them as functional, just decorating, so they are a perfect fit."

"i was pleasantly surprised by my 2 vincent barrel chairs! they are so much nicer than the picture. the fabric is a deeper more beautiful purple color than my monitor showed. the fabric is smooth and comfortable to sit on. I live in a studio apartment and these chairs are the perfect size!"

"Some of the chair legs had been damaged, i.e., wood knicked, and repaired. The chairs are really for decoration only as they are very flimsy and unstable to hold much weight to sit in."

"The chair cushion is sturdy and the chair is overall small. Unfortunately, the stitching under cushion on the left side had left extra fabric sticking out (which I had to cut off and even then, looks just ok). The back legs, when screwed in, sticks out from top view (doesn't look good). It's inexpensive so you get what you pay for. The delivery packaging was well-done."

"This chair was purchased for a front office and won't get a lot of use. It was perfect for what we were looking for. We just needed a nice looking piece of accent furniture b/c it is in the room that guests see when they first walk in. Not recommended in a room where it will get a lot of use. Feels a little unsturdy and a few of the threads were loose upon arrival. I had to tell my son that his friends couldn't jump and play on it. :) It is a good chair for the $."
