"I put this shelf together in about 2 minutes. Very sturdy and looked great. Two hole are use to hang the shelf on the wall which makes it very sturdy and stable."

"They are nice looking and are very sturdy. I love the way they look on my bedroom walls. I put them together, and my husband hung them on the wall. He is very picky and used his own hardware. The stuff that came with it would have worked fine, we kept it in our stash of hardware. Great purchase and a wonderful price."

Made in China - need for assembly mars appearance.

"I have had a hard time finding a small semi-circular shelf on which to place a piece of art glass. After searching all the stores and antique malls in my area, I ordered this.
I did not look closely enough at the information on this product before I ordered it. It is made in China, and as a result is shipped flat, despite its small size, and requires assembly.

In order to provide the tools for that assembly, an allen wrench and several pieces of hardware are shipped with it, all wrapped in plastic, as well as 4 (!) pages of assembly instructions. The whole thing is protected by slabs of styrofoam board that took up a lot of room in the trash. (No styrofoam recycled where I live.)
Assembly is easy, but be aware that a "plug" is included to cover a large screw hole on the top of the shelf, and in my case (picket fence color - white) the color of the plug did not match the shelf itself, nor did the plug fit the hole -- it is too small, and sits below the surface. I jerry-rigged a fix for this.
Lastly, the top (!) surface of the shelf had three stickers attached to it, that I was able to remove only with a liberal application of Goo Gone, and much scrubbing.
It's OK; but I wish I had been able to find something locally."
