"I think I was too excited because I'm a little disappointed. I had been crushing on this rug since I saw it in the catalog, trying to find a reason to buy it and ended up with the runner. The actual rug is less vibrant and has more greenish muddy tint in the gold/orange than I was expecting. The overall tonality is also darker.
My other disappointment is I have purchased other rugs in this price range and they are of better quality. This one is cushy but not plush enough for the price by comparison. (If you can nab it at say 25% that would be a different story - I also checked and couldn't find this rug anywhere else on the internet)
I am keeping it in spite of my feelings of mediocrity toward it because I had planned it as the color base/focal point for our newly renovated guest bedroom/bath/hall area and it will still pull together some odd color items. It's just not one of my favorite purchases.
I wouldn't recommend this to a friend unless the price came down to make up for the quality and color."

Beautiful Rug;Not quite the right Colors

"This is a beautiful rug, however the colors are more subtle than I was expecting based on the photos. My project needed stronger terra cotta & darker slate blue tones. The medium beige background color is actually the most dominate.
It could be lovely in the right setting."
