"What a beautiful table and I love it. It was very heavy and I had to hire someone to put it together because it is a very solid piece. I did not get the chairs initially because the cost was to high. I tried to find good look-a-likes but no success, so after having this beautiful, well crafted table for over 6 months, I just ordered the 4 matching chairs and a light oak washed buffet to a company my beautiful Marais table. Every time I set at this table, it takes me back to France :)"

"The overall look of this table is very simple and attractive, allowing for a mixture of styles with chairs, and other dining room furniture. What appealed to me most was the size... 80"... long enough to seat 8 comfortably. If you can catch this item with free shipping, it's a pretty good deal. Plan for assistance upon delivery and assembly, as it is VERY HEAVY and a bit awkward as the top is one large heavy piece. The top appears to be pressed wood or particle board (not cheap looking, but not solid wood), and there was a large split on one of the sides. I requested a 20% refund for the damaged merchandise rather than bothering with the return and replacement."
