I LOVE MY DESK BUT THE ASSEMBLY WAS A NIGHTMARE

"WAS IT WORTH IT? DEFINITELY!
AS EXPECTED IS WAS DELIVERED IN 3 HEAVY BOXES.
MY THOUGHTS WERE IT WOULD BE LEFT SIDE DESK...RIGHT SIDE DESK...TOP. WRONG! I DIDN'T COUNT BUT MORE THAN 20 PIECES OF WOOD AND 200 PIECES OF HARDWARE. IT TOOK 2 PEOPLE AND A FEW HOURS TO ASSEMBLE. I ALWAYS LOVE MY HD PURCHASES AND I LOVE THIS ONE...JUST NEVER HAD SUCH A COMPLICATED ASSEMBLY BEFORE."

"I was lucky to purchase this great desk with a $200 gift card, 20% off and free shipping!! The instructions were a little confusing until we put the first section together and then we got the hang of it and the rest went very well. The appearance and quality is excellent. i was very pleased with my purchase!!"

"The packaging was well engineered and adequate, none of the componets were damaged. All of the componets went together well with the exception of 2 minor issues. The holes on the magnetic latches did not line up with the pre-drilled holes on the cross bars. The holes on the magnetic latches had to be modified. The second item was the pre-drilled holes for the right hand door were spotted but had to be hand drilled. We were impressed with the fit and finish of the product. The desk looks exactly like the picture in the catalog and on line, it looks great. We are very pleased with our new desk."

"the description and pictures are very deceptive, MDF looks cheesy, so much for so called "weathered oak" finish. very poor quality for the price, i am biting a bullet returning everything."
