"I purchased this shoe storage to store shoes at the front door.
It hides away the mess and also serves well to sit down and put your shoes on. Plus, it looks great and goes well with my living room furniture which is dark cherry.
You need to be a little careful with the sliding doors as the horizontal wooden panel inside tends to stick out a bit and could get caught in the doors."

"I have ordered pictures and an entertainment center from HD in the past. When we wanted a shoe storage solution I checked out the stuff at HD online and decided to go with the Ansley unit in black color. I expected it to be nice but I found it to be even better. Its a nice solid piece and looks really upscale to me. The only thing I would take away from it is the cushion on top. While its adequate, something a little richer should come with this. Im thinking of wrapping it in leather or finding an alternate cushion. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend. Assembly takes about 2 hours and is not difficult as the directions are straight forward,"

"I bought this for my parents new home because they loved the one we had in our home (purchased from HomeDecorators.com 4 years ago). It was a perfect addition to their entryway. It gives them a safe, solid place to sit to put on their shoes and good sized cubbies to hide away their shoes. No more walking in the front door to find an assortment of shoes in the entry way! It also had good strong support legs and is very stable. Highly reccomended!"
