CHIRP JEWELRY ARMOIRE

"I wrote a glowing review when the jewelry chest first arrived. Now, after a few weeks, I feel I should provide a follow-up due to the horrible smell. I thought the odor would fade over time - it has not. I now have the top lid and all drawers open hoping the smell will fade. My next step is to buy some type of odor mitigating product. Honestly, our house is 4,600 sq. ft. & I can smell the chest walking up the stairs. Once upstairs, as I approach the room it is in, the smell is just foul. We have moved to another bedroom until the stink is cured. Hoping we can cure the stink, I still recommend the chest for its beauty, construction, functionality, and value."

"I waited a couple of months for this product, as it was on back order, but it was well worth the wait. I love it! The top section holds my rings and loose end, and the built-in mirror is a big plus. The drawers are perfect for my earrings and bracelets, and I'm storing my scarves and holiday-themed jewelry in the bottom drawers. . The hanger hooks on the inside of the doors provide easy access to my necklaces. The armoire is tall but not huge, so it's easy to find space for it in the bedroom, and it's so pretty that you really want to show it off. The drawers are not very deep, but I easily found small sectioned trays online to fit in the drawers. I'm really happy I bought this product.
P.S. It was very, very well packed."

"I WAS DRAWN TO THIS ITEM BECAUSE OF THE BIRDS PAINTED ON THE FRONT. LIVE IN A NEIGHBORHOOD CALLED AUDUBON PARK WITH STREETS NAMED AFTER BIRDS SO I HAVE A BIRD THEMED BEDROOM. TO MY DELIGHT I RECEIVED A GREAT PIECE OF FURNITURE. THIS ARMOIRE IS A SOLID PIECE. I LOVE IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.........THANKS!"

"It shipped in a timely manner and was packaged so well that it came in perfect condition. I wish it had more places to hang necklaces and perhaps some dividers in the drawers, but overall it is wonderful!!!"

"Appears to be well constructed. This is a very heavy item and the packaging was perfect. The shipping box had a couple of holes punched through, but the substantial packaging protected the armoire. The bird and branch painting is subtle and tasteful. Drawers are all lined- just a very functional piece. Holds loads of jewelry and watches w/o taking up much floor space. It was tough on my husband hauling this upstairs to our bedroom so be warned that this is very heavy so you may want to have another person help you move it. I did extensive research on jewelry storage pieces before buying this - both at high-end and more moderate retailers. This piece proves to me that quality does not have to be expensive. This armoire is better constructed than much smaller pieces I looked at that were far more expensive. I could not be more pleased. Once my sister sees it, I think she will order!"

"This piece is absolutely gorgeous; it looks exactly like the picture! It arrived earlier than estimated, and was packaged very securely. It's quite heavy and looks like a much more expensive item. I've always wanted a jewelry armoire, and I'm so glad I shopped around before I found this one. Definitely worth the wait. The only small thing I didn't like, and I'm only mentioning it here because I thought others might want to know, is that it had a heavy chemical smell when the doors and drawers were opened. I've let it air out for about 4 or 5 days, and sprayed it with fabric refresher, and it seems to be mostly gone, now. This is really only concerning to me because I plan to store some socks in the bottom drawers, so it might not be too much of an issue for anyone else."

"No complaints whatsoever. It is as, if not more lovely than it appears online. I read there were complaints about the odor and while I could smell the varnish or whatever it is, keeping the doors open for a few days eliminated it. It arrived packaged in a manner that would make it very difficult to damage in transit. It took two of us to get it opened and out of the box. It caught my eye because it didn't look like alllll the other armoire's."

"It is a nice heavy piece of furniture. Well made and fits all of my jewelry. Drawers are roomy and slide nicely. The only thing I could say negatively is there is an odor to it which I hope will dissipate quickly. It really looks nice in the bedroom."

"This is a substantial piece of furniture, not a flimsy, cheap box. Solid wood, lovely painting, extremely functional. It came well packaged, no damage, VERY heavy which is also a detriment to sending it back. Mine has a terrible odor - insecticide? I've got it outside in hopes the smell will go away. customer service was very nice and gave me the option of returning it, but it is just not practical to repackage. I doubt I could get it back to them in the shape it arrived. It is a beautiful piece and reading the other reviews the smell is not mentioned on all of them. Before you order, be sure you can live with an odor because returning it is really not an option and it sounds like the smell is hit or miss."

"It took a long time to get it (3 months). It was packed well and didn't require any assembly but needed to be aired out for a week due to a smell before putting anything into it. It's a work of art that holds quite a bit of jewelry."

"I gave this item 3 stars due to the overwhelming odor in the draws. I don't know if it's the lining or the glue used in adhering it. I like everything else about it, but don't know what I can do to eliminate the chemical smell. If anyone has any suggestions, will appreciate them. At this point I have everything opened hoping to air it out, but once I close it, the odor becomes strong, again."

"This jewelry chest is exactly as pictured. A lovely, gently painted furniture piece. My only complaint is the strong paint or varnish smell. I have had all the doors and drawers open for several days, and the smell is getting fainter, but is still there. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied and feel the piece is a good value."

"This jewelry armoire came packed so well I had a hard time getting to it in the box! This is a very sturdy well made product. And beautiful too! Others I looked at for the same price at other stores were nowhere near this quality. There is plenty of storage in the drawers. I do wish the doors had a few more hooks for necklaces. I would definitely recommend this product."
