"Looked all over and couldn't find a nicer looking rod for this price. It does look nice, and the finials are very pretty. Our bathroom window has a deep drywall return instead of a wood window casing. We thought it would look silly to mount a drapery rod on the outside of the window, so wanted a tension rod instead so the curtain could hang closer to the window. This does the trick, but two issues: because this is a shower rod, I guess they weren't that concerned with the area where the two rods intersect-- there is a large clear rubber/plastic ring that is quite noticeable where the large rod covers the smaller rod. Wouldn't look so bad with a closed shower curtain, but we have two open curtains hanging and the ring is quite noticeable. Also, the smaller rod is MUCH smaller, so you can see a clear size difference between the two. All in all, that's what you get with a tension rod, just wish they had at least color-matched the rubber ring. Still looks quite good and can't beat the price."
