Functional but not beautiful

"These wooden boxes perform the function intended, but they're not beautiful. The HENRI SENDOZ lettering is in large bold block letters and detracts from the overall ambiance of the piece. Simply copying a watchmaker's name does not a quality storage box make. Also, there's random paint streaks, I believe meant to make they pieces look shabby chic, but only serve to make it look like random paint streaks.
The concept behind the boxes is solid, it just fails on execution. For the price and reputation of Home Decorators, I expected a little better."
