"We were impressed with how nice this piece looks on the wall. It works perfectly in the space we had in mind for it. The colors are a rich dark brown with some faint gold contrasts. Very light and my guess is quite fragile, but once on the wall, it should be safe. The hangers on it are for vertical hanging. We wanted horizontal which worked fine as the back has a usable edge to hang from."
