"I like the piece, however, I must say that the print on the title of map is fuzzy. As other reviewers have stated, you cannot read any individual street names, but it is also hard to see the map title. Looks a bit like a blurry blob. I am disappointed because I think guests will say "what is that supposed to be a map of?". I will keep it, but am very lukewarm on this item. Most disappointing HDC purchase to date."

A fun piece of art!

"We bought this piece for the top of our stairwell in our foyer. Given the vaulted ceiling, we needed a large, standout piece that would visually "ground" the wall. We are extremely happy with this art piece representing a vintage map of Chicago. The scale of the piece is perfect in our space. The piece does not feel mass produced in that it looks aged (vintage) and has texture. There is a depth to the color too, like a layering effect of black/brown/ivory. The value of the piece is good too, again, noting that it is almost 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall."

"I ordered the Map of Chicago. It took over 3 months to ship to me. The picture is great and I love it, just took FOREVER to get to me. Its burlap with the image printed on it. Hard to tell that from the picture online."

"I gave this Chicago map as a gift to a friend who has great memories of living in Chicago. They loved it! The overall appearance is really nice and high quality. My only negative would be that the detail on the map is difficult to read. The small image looks like it has the detail of a blueprint, although the actual item is more abstract. A great overall impact on the wall though."
