"I'm extremely pleased with these bookcases. I bought two and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The bookcases are not extremely expensive furniture but are a great value for the money. I will probably buy at least one more."

"Love this bookcase. I was searching for something low enough to go under a window without blocking it and with at least 12" (tall and deep) shelves to fit my scrapbooks and this is perfect! I put it together myself in one day (my husband usually does this sort of job but was out of town), and it probably took a total of 2-3 hours - for me that's pretty good! No extra tools were needed, I just followed the included directions, which were fairly easy. It looks beautiful, classy and like it cost a lot more than I paid!"

"This has dimensions for a small office like mine and is pretty sturdy. The directions for assembly were not easy to follow, but it was manageable if you've done some flat pack projects before."

"If you enjoy putting things together and follow directions well....this isn't that tough to put together. It took me about 1 & 1/2 hrs. I love the look and it fits perfect where we have it in our den. The quality is good....the paint oder takes a few days to go away. I really like the look....only problem and why I didn't give it 5 stars is one small area where the top fits into base doesn't fit as tight as it should, but I'm probably the only one who will ever notice it."

"Purchased two of the taller Brexley Bookcases and was so happy with them, I purchased the short one as well. I would have purchsed a second short bookcase, but it appears that the chestnut color is no longer available. I was surprised that for being a relatively new collection, colors and items are no longer available. Would like to see this collection continue and again offer all the colors and items. This is a great buy for the price."

"Unless you want to kill yourself with stress, DO NOT buy this piece of junk. The instructions are poor, the quality of the product is poor, & you will not be able to get this thing together. I tried & finally packed it up to SEND BACK !!!!"

"This book shelf is a very good looking piece of high quality furniture. The assembly was not too difficult. It came with everything we needed, including spare parts, and all the holes were lined up as they should be so there were no unexpected surprises. The instructions weren't written as clearly as they might have been so it took us a few minutes to figure them out, but basically all you need is common sense. The end result is a book shelf that looks like it was bought at a high priced furniture store. We 're very happy with the appearance, quality, and value."

"The installation was moderately easy, however I strongly recommend wood glue for the dowels and the parts did come in a little marked up in places.

"this product came well packed so none of the pieces would be damaged in transit. it was fairly easy to assemble. you just had to read the instructions. the drawings in the instruction book could be alittle better but overall was very pleased with the final product and matches very well with what I have in the livingroom."
