"Very beautiful wood, with no dings, etc. Took my husband and I a little while to get together but everything fit perfectly. Very heavy so it won't tip. Holding up well even with my cats jumping on the top...no claw marks yet!"

"I have been looking for a brown wood file cabinet for my library for 6 months until I found this one. Some others I tried in stores can tip over when the top drawer is pulled out with a lot of weight in it. This one does not have that problem because of the cabinet's weight."

"Good product for the price. I bought his and hers. Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were included. Took about and hour for the first one because of a human error hiccup (my own fault). Second one took less than that (had it down pat by then!). Of course, I'm an assembly geek, so I didn't mind... Construction is solid, though the wood is a little soft and will probably ding easily. But for the money, it is more than acceptable."

"I am very happy with the quality and appearance of this file cabinet - exceeded my expectations! I knew I would be using this in the family room, so wanted it to look like furniture. It looks great, is very sturdy, and the drawers open and close smoothly. Assembly took me a while (2 hours) but it wasn't hard to figure out. Looks perfect in the room and I highly recommend!"

"I ordered two of these file cabinets. They are well made and very nice looking pieces of furniture. They could easily be used as nightstands or end tables. The first filing cabinet went together pretty easy and all the pieces fit well. And, it is a good thing it did because the second was not so easy. The first problem was the cam bold drilled hole was not large enough for the bolt to fit into and when I tried to force it into the wood the bolt slid further into the cross bar making it difficult for the cam lock to work correctly. This also left a small space between the crossbar and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't until just now as I tried the drawer while writing this review that I was able to lock the slider/guide into place securing the drawer. I thought the top drawer was going to be unusable except for storage of light "junk" only. Another problem I had was the drawer pull on one drawer didn't fit properly. Either the hole wasn't drilled deep enough for the bolt to catch the pull or the bolt was too short. In any event the pull would not attach to the bold, so I had to rummage around in my bolts to try and find something to substitute. It is not satisfactory, but it will work. The last thing is that the corner of the box was torn off during delivery and one of the feet/leveler was missing. Because it is on carpet it is no big deal -- it's just something else. I like the cabinets, it just think one was manufactured on Wednesday and the other late on Friday when someone was anxious to depart work."
