LEATHERSHAG RUG NOT GOOD DEAL

"i have one I purchased several years ago and it is great. This one arrived bundled up in several layers, well protected. When I got out of wrapping and put on floor I noticed many of the leather strips were covered with some plastic overlay and looked like patent leather. Not what I was expecting. I have not called to report because I know I will never be able to get it back into it's wrapping to return it. I may still call and see what they have to say. Probably will not use it as it is not nice looking like my old one."

"It looks great in my contemporary kitchen. The leather strips do keep coming off. The color I picked was not the brown but it is pretty read. I am getting used to it. Overall great for the price I am not sure how well it will hold up because of the loss of leather stripes each day."

Ugly Rug!

"We had ordered this leather rug for our living room, but it was a lot uglier than we thought from the picture. Also, the quality of the rug was poor as the leather pieces started immediately 'shedding' everywhere. I would not recommend this rug to others. We were luckily able to return for a refund."

"The rug was well depicted online. It has more texture than it shows which is a plus. It does shed as a previous reviewer noted. A nice addition: funky, cool and no regrets. Glad I bought it."

"So excited about this rug - in THEORY.. I love leather and was excited to have this kind of "shag" in my bedroom for the winter. There is a tremendous formaldehyde odor associated with this product, so much so that we were forced to let it air out OUTSIDE for 2 days. Also, there was so much dirt and trash inside the rug that it was almost impossible to get it to stop yielding dirt and detritus every time we shook it (which was difficult as it was so very heavy). Also in just unwrapping and positioning the rug we lost a bag full of the leather pieces - they just aren't attached well. Once again - love the look of it but the quality is poor."
