"We purchased the brown version of this rug to replace the one in our living room which had become worn in areas of high traffic. It is obvious that this rug is very well made and will withstand use in high traffic areas. The pile is of ideal height, and the individual strands are actually thick tube-shaped pieces of wool that are stitched down in the center. The color has a little more variation than it appears in the online image, but I am actually happy with this and like it more than I had expected. The material is soft and super comfy to walk on. It seems to vacuum well and has not shed very much at all so far."
