"I was looking for pendants that had a unique look and that were reasonably affordable! These have a nice "wow" factor without dominating the room. I do wish they had a solid down rod instead of just the cord, but the shades are so awesome, I can overlook that! My electrician installed yesterday so can't really speak to quality, but he had no complaints."

"Terrific light fixture -- changes the whole look of my kitchen -- softens the light nicely but is still very bright over my counter. Took me about 8 minutes to install! No tools :)"

"This is the 3rd light I bought like this the first 2 were hard wired. This was so easy to install I did on my lunch break from work. Took me at the most 10 minutes. I love it. Lights beautifully."

"This is a beautiful light! Makes a great addition above my sink. Even though this pendant is listed in the catalog along with "can to pendant" conversions, this light DOES NOT come with a conversion kit. Thank goodness I read prior reviews. We purchased a separate conversion kit online. Other than that inconvenience and extra time to assemble, we are very pleased with this purchase."

"listed as having a conversion kit to install into a high hat fixture, It is a hardwire piece. Online chat confirmed is does not have a conversion kit in this color. Latest advertisement is still incorrectly listing item as having a conversion fixture. We had to pay return shipping as well"

"My wife and I are extremely pleased with the purchase. The Hammered Pendant lights, we purchased two, have a sophisticated look with modern appeal; they provide an elegant accent to our kitchen, specifically our island. Installation was very easy; you literally screw the fixture into the recessed light socket and you’re done; adjust the length as required. Highly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase other conversion kit lighting options offered by Home Decorators Collection based on this purchase. Good luck!"

"I purchased two of these brushed nickel hanging lights and put them in my kitchen to match the tin splashback behind the sink and the stainless steel appliances. People walk in the kitchen and the first thing they say is how awesome the lights look. They are attractive and look much more expensive than they were. The only problem is the screw piece that holds the light to the ceiling is weak, and I cannot tighten it enough. The directions warn you NOT to overtighten it and I'm afraid I will break it if I tighten it further."
