"I would love to give this otherwise very nice vanity five stars had the maker not felt the need to "antique" the surface by sanding the finish off at numerous spots along the edges. The result is a disappointing, beaten up appearance that I thought at first was shipping wear until I saw from file marks that it was intentional. I have little hope that touch up paint will improve the appearance. However, despite its imperfections, it fits well where I need it, has a very graceful design, was easy to assemble and, at least when seen from a distance, is quite pretty."
