"The shelves are easy to put together. However, the material is absolutely horrible. There were scratches everywhere and they are very visible on the black color. You will have to drill holes in your walls to put it up and you will have to be very careful with the measurement!"

"BOUGHT THESE INTERLOCKING LEDGES FOR OUR SON'S ROOM. THEY WERE EASY TO INSTALL AND LOOK GREAT. WE PLACED TWO NEAR EACH OTHER AND ONE ON AN OPPOSITE WALL ABOVE HIS DRESSER. THEY ARE GREAT FOR HOLDING PHOTOS, ALARM CLOCK, COLOGNE, AND SMALL NICK NACKS."

TERRIBLE instructions!

"My husband and I almost got a divorce over trying to put these "interlocking" shelves together. The template was only for one shelf instead of a complete 3-shelf template, which is the only way to put this up properly on the wall after hours of hard work. The instructions did not tell you where to place the hole in the wall either, so now we have way too many holes and lots of black marks on the wall, thank you very much--and they never did "interlock!" Bad, bad, bad!"

Biggest Pain

"Out of all the items I have had to assemble since I bought my house these interlocking shelves were the hardest and biggest pain. There were not enough screws and anchors to support it. So I had to improvise by using my own screws and strong double sided tape. The template was a mess. I created my own template. At the end you want them to be in line and hung strong enough to hold a few picture frames etc. I had to hold my breath when I started putting stuff on them. After its all said and done they look great and all the items I put on them have stayed. However, had I known ahead if time the amount of effort it would take to get them to look the way they do now I would never have bought them. I do not recommend these to anyone. There have to be other wall shelves out there that aren't as complicated as these."
