"Looks much richer than the price. Very easy to put together. It is sturdy - unlike some other beds, the slats each have individual "feet" so that it is very durable. It is real wood not laminate. The color is a rich brown. I also bought the end tables; they were somewhat more difficult to put together but the set looks really wonderful."
