"I needed a simple spotlight to shine on a wall clock that is difficult to read because it has a dark face. This spotlight is perfect. It is simple, but elegant, heavy, and well constructed. I chose the dark bronze because I didn't want the the spotlight itself to be conspicuous. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for my needs and at a better price. Well worth the money."

Disappointing Purchase

"I have purchased other items prior to this purchase, and receive catalogs on a regular basis. I had seen this lamp in one of them, a few years back. I wanted to replace a lamp I already own that is similar, but not as nice looking. So I went on the site to see if the lamp, that I saw previously, was still available?? It was, and it came in several finishes. I bought the copper lamp, and once I received it, I took it out of the box, screwed in the bulb, that was included, and was not satisfied. First off the bulb was visible and stuck out from the lamp. Second, where it screwed in was crooked, therefore the bulb was touching the base of the lamp, and if on for too long, felt that it might pop."

"I purchased this light in order to display one of my bronze statues on a pedestal in a darker corner of the room. The top of the light can be turned to any degree you wish, or need, in order to get the lighting effect correct. I chose the bronze finish light and am pleased with the overall look. A nice quality small light!"

"The lamps looks great, similar to what I imagined. It is made of plastic, very light, but looks heavier. But the packing could be better. I also found several scratches on the lamp, but too lazy to return it for this. Since it will sit in a corner, nobody will notice the scratches. The bulb that came with it is not the ideal bulb though. It is longer than the lamp, so it stick out of the lamp with its long neck."

"I ordered two spotlights. They are not oil-rubbed bronze, as described and depicted online, but painted a flat chocolate brown. In other words, they have no metallic gleam. I have not used them and plan to return them."

"We purchased this to illuminate an indoor silk tree. The socket for the light bulb is slightly offsides, so it it hard to screw in and remove a light bulb. When the light bulb is screwed in correctly, it touches the inside of the "ball" and gets very hot. It looks very nice, especially for the price, but I worry about it the whole time it is on."

"I bought these lights to light up a palm tree in a planter that I also bought from home decorators. the lights do not come with the light bulbs, so I ordered some cool ray light bulbs. they don't get hot and won't damage your plant. its hard to tell from the pictures that I uploaded but at night when I turn on these lights it makes a cool pattern on the walls and ceiling, kinda gives you a jungle feel LOL! THESE LIGHTS AND PLANTER ARE A NICE ADDITION TO MY NEWLY REMODELED BATHROOM. I MIGHT NEED TO GET SOME JUNGLE MUSIC TO GO ALONG WITH THE STUFF I GOT. THEN IT WILL BE LIKE TAKING A BATH IN THE JUNGLE LOL! I CAN'T WAIT!
