"I found it difficult to rate this dinnerware. If you are looking for a perfect, machine-made service, you'll be disappointed. But if you relish the individual variations of hand-made pottery, you'll love these! They aren't 'perfect,' they are PERFECTLY UNIQUE. And what doesn't really show is that these bowls are huge, more like deep dinner soup bowls. They would be perfect for a huge dinner salad like Crab Louie or Chicken Caesar Salad where the salad is the main portion of the meal. Or a big bowl of pasta! And I love the fact that there IS a design, but so quiet that it won't interfere with the meal you place on them."
