Rug all one color...

"I ordered the Rae rug recently, and want to point out two important facts that are not clear from the pictures. It looks like these rugs are two colors - a base, and a different colored design. In fact the rug is all one color, and the design is "carved" into the rug in a lower pile. Pretty, but different from the pictures (although I have no idea how they could show this any differently. Perhaps a note somewhere that the design is carved and not a different color).
I ordered the Teal rug. It looked like slate blue on my monitor, which is generally pretty accurate. I checked with a sales rep, and was told that despite the name, the rug is more blue than teal. If you're considering this color, be aware that the rug is definitely teal! If there had been a darker blue design it might have worked for me, but as already noted, it's all one color. So... I had to return it.
Fortunately (and much to my surprise), the return process was a breeze. Kudos to Home Decorators for that!
I'm giving this rug a high rating, despite the fact that it didn't work out for me, because it really looked like a beautiful rug. It's is made by Surya (noted on the rug, but not on the website), which is an excellent manufacturer. I didn't fully unroll it, but it looked like it would have been beautiful.
I'm sad - I loved the design. Hopefully it will work out better for other people."
