"Item looks very nice once assembled, but what a nightmare to put together. My husband has put together many items from Home Decorators, and this one was horrible. If you are good at modifying items and like the looks of this item go ahead otherwise avoid it. The instructions were very criptic and almost unusable. The middle drawer had to be modified and glued together to keep it from coming apart. The comment about the shelves and shelf holders was correct. They fit loosely and could not be used. Still trying to come up with an alternative. Buyer beware!"

A decent cabinet

"I'm pretty skilled at putting these types of assembled furniture together, so this item was not too difficult to assemble. One set of doors is slightly mis-aligned; I tried to adjust alignment, but couldn't make enough adjustment. Most people wouldn't even notice the slight mis-alignment, so I eventually left it as is. The base of the cabinet seems substantial like solid wood, which I was pleased with; however the drawer front was pressed fibers (probably HDF) and had a small chip in the corner. I contacted Home Decorators and they promptly sent out a replacement whcih I received in less than a week ... I was pleased with their service. The cabinet finish is nice. Overall I'm quite pleased with the product."
