"We got this table to fill a void in our office - - It was very easy to assemble (I put it together myself) and I have gotten a lot of compliments from co-workers about how much it adds to our office. It looks like it cost hundreds of dollars, but it didn't! It looks very classie and I am very pleased with the appearance and workmanship. I was concerned when it arrived that I would open the box and have something with a poor quality finish and/or nicks and scratches - - But that wasn't the case! Thanks for a beautiful table!!!!"

"I had purchased the Clairmont counter height pub table. I have two counter height chairs that we already had, so I wanted to use those. When sitting, I can hardly get my legs under the table and I'm a petite women. Their is no way my husband could sit at the table and get his legs under it and he is an average size man. I really do like the table, its very cute. But I don't think any standard size counter height chair will work with this table and I'm pretty sure counter height is 36in and not 34in. But o-well. We have some really nice chairs and we will modify the chairs so they will work. The bar height table, for us would be to high. The finish on this table is very nice. We have bought several pieces of furniture from this company and all the cherry finished products are different in color. But I would recommend the cherry finished table to anyone, but to keep in mind the height of the table and make sure you would have chairs to fit. When they say 34in. in height, thats from top of table top to the floor. The table top itself is approx. 4in. thick. If the bottom of the table top was at the 34in. mark, it would be perfect!"

"the table arrived promptly and is well made, nice and heavy. a friend put it together without too much trouble, it took him about 1/2 hour. I owned 2 nice counter chairs so I specifically wanted a counter height table - well, there is just enough room for my legs to get under the table, I wish it was a couple inches higher. the bar height table would be too high so I guess I just have to deal with it."
