"I had ordered 2 of these and received them today. One was completely damaged but our UPS driver thinks it may have been UPS so he took it to return it. Customer service quickly re-ordered another for me. The one we kept is nice but the seat is crooked. We think it's because the screws are not put in the best. Overall they will work for our needs at our kitchen island for a good price."

"I love this counter chair...it looks beautiful and the quality is really really nice. I got three chairs on sale and you just can't beat that!!
The instructions were horrible...there was none inside the boxes...they were on line and scanned in you could hardly read them. Which was ok because they were wrong anyway. They are completely opposite of how to put them together! And one nut was missing...but easy to find at Home Depot! I love them!!!"

"Just received this chair which I'll use with my desk. It's a sturdy chair and just the right size to fit the type of desk I have. I do, however, question the assembly instructions. We tried as directed and were not able to obtain a 360 swivel since nuts hit the upper screws. We reversed the installation of the bolts and were able to swivel 360. The outer rim of the back assembly should have been cut off after being placed thru the seat; however, I will modify and touch up with black paint. Some spots also need touching up. Still consider the chair an excellent value for the price."

"We ordered three of these for our kitchen counter/bar. They matched our kitchen chairs and table. There were no directions in the box, so I called and Home Decorators promptly e-mailed them to me. The copy of the scanned in directions, though, was awful in appearance. It was a bad copy and hard to read because the pages were so dark. Also, the chairs were slightly marked up in a few places but I haven't had time to dust/polish them or really look at the marks. I don't see this as a big deal. Overall we are happy to have them in our kitchen."

"These chairs are perfect in my kitchen. I think they are pretty comfortable, too. A couple of minor paint flaws, but easy to fix with permanent marker on the black part. The only thing was there were no directions but I was able to figure out the 4 screws and washers it took to build the chair. Tip - swivel the chair if you can put screws through the hole. Great chair for the low price!"

"I have purchased these chairs for the kitchen island, to avoid using my dining table with 3 little ones daily. When necessary I can give it a wipe down without worrying about cushions. The color of the wood is rich, they look and feel of great quality. The only minor thing I noticed and I mean minor is that the seat doesn't swiwel easily, in other words, if you turn to get of the seat it doesn't return to it's position facing the counter. So I have to look under, maybe I can loosen a screw or grease it a bit...otherwise I am very pleased with the purchase."

"We purchased the stools after a total kitchen re model and found they were a good value for our dollar. There were some glitches. Holes were drilled in the wrong place and on one there were not enough holes. After making the corrections, they were went very well with our counter bar."
