"A few years back, I had purchased a similar item at another department store that I really liked, but was discontinued. I really like the Mission style media cases and figured that I would never find one I liked. I had searched off and on since and just happened to find this one. I purchased two sets, thinking that for the price I was paying, if I didn't like them, I could always garage sale them and it would not be a total loss. Well, they arrived today, and I was totally impressed by the purchase. The picture on the website doesn't show the feet that come on the cases. Also, they hold standard sized DVD cases just fine, and if you stack them, the shelf between the two units will hold oversized DVD boxed sets. Granted, with the snap on top, they won't hold a standard sized DVD on the shelf under the top, but they will hold a regular CD or a Blu-Ray just fine.
Granted, this isn't a piece of fine furniture, but the very slight imperfections in the finish add some character (between two sets, I had a couple of minor blemishes that you might not see unless you're looking for them).
I'm not going to say there were NO cons, the only "con" that I had was that the dowels that hold it together are rather small (not enough to cause a problem) and I am considering getting a couple of longer wood dowels to put in between them. Other than that, the "pros" totally outweigh the cons.
Pros:
Stylish (looks like they are more expensive than they are)
NOT Laminate (Made from REAL wood)
Packed very well, (By the time I got it, I could see footprints where someone walked on the box, but still no damage)
Quick set up (takes longer to unbox than to assemble, and NO tools required)
Very sturdy, once assembled
Cons:
Plastic dowels too short (Minor issue)
In summary, I am VERY happy with my purchase, and am thinking about purchasing two more sets just for future needs. They are a GREAT value."

"Overall I am very happy with these storage units. They are very sturdy and look much nicer than particle board media storage. The finish wasn't 100% perfect, but the flaws I noticed were minor, and the overall construction was good. I bought these as a set of two folding units with mantle top, and I had no trouble setting up the stacking shelves, but the mantle top was a bit more difficult to install. I had to enlarge the holes a little to make it fit down onto the plastic pegs. Then I discovered that DVDs wouldn't fit standing up on the shelf beneath the mantle top, so I ended up taking it off anyway. I still think the shelving units are well worth what I paid for them, and will keep the mantle top in case I ever unstack them and use them as separate units."
