Nice looking but feet fall off.

"The stool is great and easy to clean. The problem is that the 'feet' - the levels that keep the legs level to the floor fall off easily. We have lost two and Home Decorator's do not offer replacements or give any manufacturing info. I have looked in every Home Improvement store and there is no replacement. You have to order a whole new stool."

"This bar stool is exactly as it looks. It is light weight and easy to slide under the bar. It also has very nice pads on the legs to keep it from scatching wood floors. I ordered 2 and the swivel is a little stiff on one of the chairs but it still works."

"While the bar stool seems sturdy and arrived in good condition, I was disappointed in the finish. It is represented to be Brushed Aluminum but in my opinion looks more like silver spray paint. If that works for you, it would be suitable for a patio but I don't think it looks like an indoor piece. I would return it except for the hassle."

"I had ordered the wrong size of stools. After talking to many people Marlin was very helpfull in making the return possiable so that I could reorder the right size. "We love the aluminum barstools! We ordered 4 of the swivel barstools to accommodate a bar-height table made by my husband. They were timely delivered and the barstools are exactly what was presented in the product description. They are lightweight and comfortable. "Rarely have I been more pleased with an online purchase! This outstanding barstool's sleek, smooth, shiny appearance meshes with a wide variety of home decor. We have "coastal cottage" feel in our house, and these stools blend in beautifully. Their smooth, even swivel mechanism infinitely add to their appeal by giving kids a fun way to wiggle at mealtime and by allowing conversation to flow from "eating area" backwards to "living area" in our new open floor plan. awesome!! and we're very very picky people!! great value as well!! looked elsewhere for months and couldn't find its equal!! yahe!"

"I have two of these stools in two different sizes. They look great and are exactly what I wanted. They work perfectly with historic-type decor -- my house was built in 1918 and I use one in my kitchen that was recently renovated to look like a butler's pantry from that period. But they would also work well with contemporary decor. Thanks!"

"We chose the Melanie stools for our new home; first time we've ever had such a counter & had to select stools. Wanted them to look smart, clean and to function perfectly. They do all that and more. They are subtle but beautifully designed. Very sturdy and yet sit "quietly" under the counter. They fit into our contemporary decor but could be used with almost any style. A hit with us, for sure."

"This bar stool is perfect for my outside lanai's summer kitchen. It's light, impervious to weather, won't fade, and will last for years to come. I couldn't be happier! I also own the counter height Melanie Stool that I use in an inside kitchen work area. Both tuck nicely under overhang counters. Most importantly, they are strong."
