"Nice looking shelf but, the design makes no sense. Impossible to get it to sit flush with wall. Very unstable. Had to return it."

"The craftsmanship of this product was extremely poor. The floating shelf was cracked and damaged upon arrival not due to shipping. The only way to secure the shelf to the wall is with 2 screws at each end of a 60 inch shelf( not sufficient ) for the length."

Mahogany is not a dark brown

"Arrived promptly, quality is very nice. Problem is I need a very dark brown shelf. My other furniture is very dark brown, or black/brown, which is so popular. I ordered MAHOGANY and it's a medium brown. Much ligher than everything else in my room. I am so terribly disappointed in the color as Mahogany is usually a dark, deep brown. Now I will deal with the return process and hope it goes smoothly."

"Appearance of the product is good, though there are some imperfections in the finish. The main problem is mounting the shelf on the wall. The shelf came with two long wood screws and instructions to mount it to a stud. Well, that was not convenient, so I bought mounting wall anchors from Lowe's."

"These shelves are ok . . . but took forever to install and 2 trips to the hardware store for anchors (which are not provided) and install with a high degree of difficulty. One shelf cracked at the slot / point of attachment, so I'm going back to the hardware store for small visible brackets to install under for some added stability."

"I purchased 5 of these shelves for a long entry hall. I will use them for photos after the holidays but right now they hold a large part of my Annalee dolls. My husband installed easily with hangers we purchased at hardware store since they were not going into studs. Love them!"

"The hardware provided with this shelf (only 2 screws) was insufficient in holding the shelf up. It pulled away from the wall even with nothing on the shelf. We ended up buying some scrolled L-brackets in order for the shelf to stay up against the wall. This defeated the purpose of buying a "floating" shelf. Not really the look we were going for, but at least we can place items on it now. The shelf looks nice, but you'll need to buy additional hardware."

"Very disappointed when these shelves arrived. I selected the cherry finish, but the finish was purple-red, ugly. Made from what looked like cheap pine. Needless to say, these were returned. Not worth what was charged."

"Craftmanship was horrid! It was unsanded. Cut and assembled with planer lines across the shelf top front edge top and bottom. Unsanded wood fringe (don't know what else to call it) on the shelf edges. The actual shelf base is veneer. Buy this shelf ONLY if you plan do alot of sanding prior to finish."

"We are very pleased with our floating shelves! They were a bit difficult to hang (you have to be very precise with your measurements), but the instructions were good, and they look great!
We were also pleased that the shelf came in the 5-foot length, which we couldn't find with a lot of other vendors who sold similar floating shelves.
The only cons were that they were not as smoothly finished as I expected (they're a little bit rough), and there was a very little chip in the wood, but we put that one higher up, and you can't really see it at all."

"Looks great and easy to install. Don't mess around with the stud locations, just get some "Stud Solver" mounts and then you are free to mount the shelf wherever looks best. Very sturdy. I ordered more of them!"

"Bought this shelf for my wife's wine room. I easily installed the shelf and put her collection of wine glasses on it. It looks good; however, there is a slight imperfection in the clear finish (Not bad enough to return it)."

"I bought four shelves, two-12 inche shelves and two-24 inch shelves in black to replace some ledge shelves that were of poor quality and would not stay on the wall. The euro floating wall shelves were of much better quality than the paperboard ones they replaced. The keyhole hanging points are much sturdier. The shelves were not too difficult to hang, just remember to measure the distance between the keyholes carefully and leave the screw out of the wall at least 0.5 inches. Can screw them in more or back them out so that the shelf hangs flush.
The only concern I have is that the 24" shelf would be a bit more sturdy if there was an additional hanging point in the middle instead of just one at each end. But so far there have been no problems.
