"I had been looking for aluminum dining chairs for several months. I am the type of person to read every review before I make an online purchase. Similar versions of this chair sold on Amazon had poor reviews so I decided to look into Home Decorators Collection. Because I loved the idea of these chairs so much, I placed an order. I was so anxious to see if these chairs would live up to my expectations....and they did!! They have a very modern look but are actually really comfortable to sit in. The joints were welded nicely together, and the packaging did an amazing job protecting the chairs from getting scratched up, etc. These easy to clean chairs are stylish and functional, my 2 favorite things! This is a definite must have for every contemporary home."

"We love these chairs. We have been looking around for something similar, and this price couldnt be beat! We currently have 4 of them, will be buying 2 more in silver and then making it interesting with two red for the heads of table. They are light, sturdy, and pretty darn comfortable. Look like something we could find at design within reach, but for way less."

"This is a great looking chair and a good knock-off from the classic "navy chair" that goes for $500 at Design Within Reach. It's lightweight and comfortable. My only critique would be that it needs softer pads on the legs as the plastic ones make a screeching sound when the chair is moved. I ordered this for a client and we added softer pads. She loves them."

"I finally decided to replace my kitchen chairs as they were constantly needed replacement seats or backs as they are made of that woven straw material that wore out. My table has aluminum legs and glass top so the aluminum chairs were perfect and took up less room."

"I have been eyeing these chairs for some time....have had it with the wooden ones....since we live with wood stoves (lots of dry air), we were always drilling and glueing them back together. Wish I had these chairs when the kids were growing up...they can take it. So COMFORTABLE...love the backs. The seat is about 1" higher than my old wooden chairs and I like it. Was forewarned the seats might be cool....have cushions on the seats anyway. So far, everyone visiting has admired them!"

"It's the classic navy chair from fancy retailers only cheaper. Lighweight and comfortable enough. My only question is how well it will hold up, the spots where it is welded together look a little thin. But overall, a great chair for the money."

"Seems really cheap and lightweight when sitting on it but from far away they look good. Bought at full price and paid shipping too so deal wasn't great. I'll keep them and use them for a different purpose than I intended. Great kid friendly chairs. Easy to clean too. Very very light weight and easy to move around. A bit rickety when sitting on them."

"I love the look of these chairs and they are also comfortable to sit in, despite being made from aluminum. The only disappointments are that they are always very cold (probably need to buy seat cushions) and the legs are uneven. There are plastic adjustable pieces at the end of the legs so that you can even them out, but we still found it a bit tricky to do so. If the legs or adjustable piece were designed better, I would give this product 5 stars."

"I bought 3 of this chair from HD years ago at full price,waiting for the day for it to go on sale to have a complete 4 altogether.FINALLY!!!
This chair is made of lighter aluminum than it's industrial version,so they're PERFECT for the Modernist kitchen. I use chair cushions on them for added comfort & texture/color.They are light but FAR from flimsy.They take a lickin' and don't dent or rust.Sturdy & tough!Great durability,great looks at the price that they SHOULD BE..the SALE PRICE! THANKS for another winner HD!!!!!"

"I really like the look of the chair. I have had it for a few weeks now. It is very light weight, as it is aluminum. I just wonder how it will hold up over the years. As others have said, the look at the joints are pretty cruddy. The price is a bit high considering you can get a half way decent chair made of wood for this, but I wanted something contemporary for my new kitchen. Time will tell...Overall I like them, just not in love with them."

"Chair has adjustable height feet for uneven floors, but they do not stay where you adjust them as the adjusting threads are extremely loose. And when the feet are in any position but fully tightened the chair makes a significantly loud rattling noise when you slide it on the floor.
Looks fine and is very sturdily built although it is SO light it feels cheaply made. So I'm not crazy about it but wife loves it! :-)"

"Kinda flimsy, I'm very disappointed I can't return them. We bought them for a remodel and now that we are set up to use them, (the job was longer than expected past the 90 day return deadline) I am very unhappy with the final look but especially the cold chin-sy feel of them."

"The chairs well were described. Packaging was very good, all arrived in great shape and on the exact date suggested. Appreciated price reduction if buying 6 or more. Like the matte finish. A super sturdy comfortable chair - given they are metal they do get cold so I will be buying pads for colder months. One of the chairs has a leg that is shorter than the rest and wobbles secondary to this."

"Chairs came quickly and packed very well-not a scratch. They are light (I can pick it up with one finger)but sturdy, perfect for around a kitchen table or for taking outside if you choose. Everyone who sits on them agrees that they are very comfortable, the indentations are just right for your butt and some of my relatives have pretty big butts and they loved them too. Some of the welds looked a tiny bit sloppy but did not look weak at all or detract from the chairs good look."

"Chair is lighter weight than I had expected. Feels a little like sitting on a big aluminum can. Style is outstanding and exactly what we wanted. Workmanship and finish is very good. Price is a bit much for the product though."
