"We bought four. They are great. Super light weight which is nice for moving around. But also very sturdy. The color and finish are exactly as shown on the website (we got brushed aluminum). Delivery was quick and easy. The swivel is perfect."

"I am a designer and found these bar stools for a client in Chicago. The brushed silver finish works well in an open concept kitchen/counter area featuring stainless steel appliances.
The swivel seat feature is also a real bonus for everyday living. The bar stools came fully assembled and packaged beautifully."

"I purchased two of these stools. They arrived on two different days. Not really a problem, but it did make me wonder... As for the stool, it's perfect. The seat is comfortable and the swivel works well. The brushed aluminum color compliments our natural slab concrete floors. WOW, each stool was wrapped in multiple layers to protect it during shipping. It worked for mine. No dinks, dents, or problems. Wish I could have used the ivory color which is now on sale...."

Great stool but needs an adjustment

"The chair is awesome but the workmanship needs some attention, which I'll explain in a bit. I bought my stool to pair it with a drafting desk. I took the chair out of the box and was pleased with the bright if matte finish red paint. My new desk has a vintage feel and I'd intended to buy a stool that "matched", but then decided some color was needed in my apartment. I thought the Sandra Bar Stool would be a lively choice and it was. The stool's contours matched the desk's lines but the bright red challenged its dark oak and jacobean stain. And the chair tucked nicely under the desktop and provided the perfect height for my reach to the desk. Also the chair itself is sturdy with smooth lines and nice welding. However, the stool has a swivel seat and that's where there might be problem in the future. When the seat "swivels", it's too tight, as if the ball bearings are under pressure or there's not enough grease, or both. When the seat was put together it's obvious that there wasn't much fine attention given to making sure the seat swiveled smoothly. For the price, yeah, I expected that attention. I bought a round cushion because my legs were loosing circulation, so think about that when your buying. I recommend the stool because she looks great and fits my desk nicely. Hopefully, the swivel won't be an issue in the future."

"I love the style, shape and size of these stools. They don't take up nearly as much floor space or "air" space as other stools we considered. They're also very lightweight, so they're easy to move around when cleaning the floor. They're comfy enough for me, but my husband did ask me to get cushions made for them."

"i didn't feel that the stools looked like the picture of the product. the picture evokes a more "stainless steel" type finish and that is not what these chairs have."

"These chairs are exactly what I was looking for in my new house. I needed some modern looking bar stools for my breakfast bar and these chairs fit the bill. I read the reviews and some where good, some OK, but I can say they are sturdy, well made and look great and are the perfect height for my bar. Additionally, they packaging and wrappinig of the product was first rate. It was clear someone had taken the time to design robust packaging."

"This barstool is surprising light and really is brushed aluminum all the way around. I love it! My only complaint is I put it in an office Kitchen space on tile flooring and they are very noisy....added felt pads but hope they stay on!"

"These swivel bar stools look fabulous in our newly remodeled bar room. I wanted something contemporary but wanted lightweight too. These fit the bill...not to mention that they are very comfortable. I was going to order the stationary version of this chair but my husband insisted on swivel ones at the bar. We found them to be reasonably priced as well. We look forward to enjoying them for years to come."

Finding the right stool

"A bad start with stools not the correct height made us hesitate on trying HDC again -- although we have several fine pieces from earlier purchases from this company. So we were happy to find a second stool style in the HDC catalogue a few weeks later. It came preassembled and exactly as shown! It's finish works well with our brushed nickel hardware and our granite top color. HD even helped us delay the UPS delivery due to our 4th of July travel plans."

"Stools look great at kitchen counter. Light color blends in, keeping them light looking. Their narrow size will allow me to fit 4 in a space where I thought 3 would work. (They replaced 3 large wicker bar stools from previous) I will be ordering another one! Hubby thought seat is hard and cold so will get chair cushions and add some color."

"These stools look great, but that's the only good thing I can say about them. No one in my household weighs more than 180 lbs yet the seats on these stools do not swivel easily and they are now all bent forward, making it almost impossible to sit on. I even took one apart to try to figure out how the seat actually bent forward and I just couldn't find what made it happen. I own them a little over a year and the seats have been bent for at least 9 or 10 months and tonite I am putting them on the curb for the garbage men to take. Very disappointing, I expected to at least get 5 years out of them. Maybe they're okay for kids to sit on."
