"This console is beautiful. It came in perfect condition. Assembly was very easy and the piece is just lovely. It appears sturdy, the drawers work perfectly and the style of the piece is exquisite. A high quality console and we are so glad we bought it. "WE are keeping the table, as it is made well, considering the price, and we like the design. However, there two smaill scratches on the table top, and the color of the table is much, much redder than indicated in the photo. It does not match our other 'red' cherry furniture, but since this table will be away from the other pieces of cherry furniture, we will make due.
This table was obviously repackaged, and my husband feels this was so becuase a former buyer sent it back, probably due to the scratches.

"This piece went together extremely easy but I was disappointed in the wood tone (wouldn't call it mahogany) and also the drawer hardware. I also purchased the "Traditional" Glass Front Bookcase and you would think that they would have matching hardware but they didn't. If I did recommend this to a friend I would qualify my recommendation."

"I'm very pleased with this table. It's well made, and the 2 drawers and 2 shelves give it extra storage and versatility. I usually use it to display family photos, but for parties it's great as a serving buffet. I put food and drinks on the top, plates and glasses on the middle shelf, and desserts & coffee cups on the bottom shelf to be moved up later. The drawers can hold silverware and napkins. As others have mentioned, the finish is more of a dark red than mahogany. I was expecting this and it wasn't an issue for me, but if you're trying to match it to other furniture, you might be disappointed. Other than that, it's exactly as described."

"Yes, as everyone said, and the picture shows, this IS a lovely RED CHERRY finish. In case anyone is wondering, as I did, you CAN put it together with only the lower shelf. The insides of the legs are notched where the shelves go, but they are well stained/finished, so you hardly notice the middle shelf is 'missing.' Packaging was very well done to protect during shipping.
Oh, and for the non-mechanically inclined, the instructions don't tell you, but if you pull the drawers forward before trying to screw in the legs and it will work better."
