"This is a beautiful piece and glad that we bought it. However, have some patience (block out 2 hours of your time) and lay out the pieces in an organized fashion so you know where things are. Also, like the other reviewers, a drill will be helpful. The drawers that the rails need to be attached to are not pre-drilled - this information is NOTED on the instructions, too. Luckily, we had a drill and the rail attachment was a breeze. Also if you are a small person, you will not have any problems getting into hard places that need screws. Good luck and enjoy."

Beautiful, but Difficult to Put Together

"I will start out by saying that, once put together, the piece is really really nice. However, it is the assembly that gives me hesitation as to recommend this product.
The dresser arrives in 2 fairly heavy boxes. There are a ton of pieces to put together so I would recommend organizing them before you begin. Also, you need the following tools (this is not made clear on the instructions):
1) POWER DRILL and SCREWDRIVER
2) Regular phillips head screwdriver
3) Hammer

3) Hammer
You cannot put this piece together with just a normal screwdriver like a lot of other furniture pieces I have put together in the past. Some of the holes are not drilled wide enough to easily put some of the screws in, and on other parts they do not have holes at all. This is not a mistake, as the directions indicated this (be it not very clear and at the end).
You have to follow the instructions step by step. However, even when you do the instructions aren't crystal clear and you will have to go back and fix some of your mistakes. If I were the manufacturer of this product, I would make the piece a lot easier to put together or at least clear up the instructions.
But, after the hours upon hours it took to put it together, its a great piece and at a fairly decent price."

Nice piece, but not so easy to assemble

"Really like the look of the piece and the materials are good quality. The only draw back is the directions. After looking and looking at the small diagram, we still ended up doing a few things incorrectly and had to disassemble and put back together. Unfortunately, we had to move one of the slats and it broke when the whole piece was finished. So wood glue and a clamp were used to hopefully fix it well enough. Still working on the drawer alignment, but thats minor. Overall a nice piece, again materials are good quality, the color matched sample and we like how it looks finished. My suggestion would be to get better directions to follow. I'm just not sure if putting this piece together justifies the price of it. If it was easier then I'd be totally happy."
