"I admit I was hesitant to purchace this product based on the previous reviews I read about it, but after some thought I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I got it for the kitchen as extra storage and am very pleased with it. I had none of the other problems people complained about it their reviews. The cabinet it true to size, and was a perfect fit for where I measured it to go. Directions and assembly were easy to follow, better I think to have 2 people though, but one could do it with some extra muscle. Cabient is strudy, shelves are able to hold all my cookbooks no problem. No pieces came broken or chipped, and nothing split or cracked during assembly. Great value for the money. I love it."

Not Worth the $ Date: October 12, 2009
"The cabinet arrived with a fork lift gouge in the box that scapred the outside of the cabinet. The spine board that attaches to the back panels was cracked (about 12") at the bottom.

It was easy to put together. Instructions may have been translated from another language.

The qualtiy of the cabinet was not as it appeared online and not worth the price.

I accepted it only because it would be problematic to return.

Not good quality at all Date: August 15, 2009
"There's a real bad design defect in this product. The first order came with two pieces badly cracked. One was cracked where the angle lip was attached to the side. The other had the angle lip completely cracked off.

I called customer service and they sent me two replacement pieces. But by the time they came another piece that had come originally also showed a crack in the exact same place.

It looks like someone tried to seal the joint between two pieces with a lot of paint instead of proper caulking!

Like another one of the Hampton Bay products that I ordered, the pre-drilled holes were out of position on this one. So this cabinet is held together by only 3 out of 4 of the screws for each side. I'm afraid to put anything heavier than a picture frame on the top.

Also, the quality of the paint finish is very poor and the paint chips much too easily.

I'm really surpised by how bad this is as I have ordered many other things from Home Decorators and liked them all.

"This Cabinet is exactly the size stated in the description. So, those who claim it is not the size they thought should consider breaking out a measuring tape before they buy. It was easy to put together, that is if you understand that you don't tighten down completely one set of screws on one side of a cabinet door before screwing in the second set. But then, anyone with any experience whatsoever with a screwdriver would know that. All the holes match up and there are no ill-fitting parts. For the money, this product is fine and I would buy again. If you are reasonably handy, you'll be satisfied. It was a one-person build, and took 90 minutes. I use it to hold clean towels up top, and put a hamper inside the bottom drawers. Works perfectly for what I wanted and within the space I've got."

"We purchased this cabinet for additional storage in our bathroom. It took hours to put together, some parts were broken (requiring us to go to a hardware store to find replacements), some of the wood was chipped - and then when we finally finished assembly, the doors were crooked! Spend your hard earned cash on better quality."

"I purchased this cabinet for my shore house bathroom to hold towels... Good construction, not too difficult to put together (it took my husband and I about 1 hour), and it looks great! It's useful and is a nice piece of furniture. My daughter loved it so much she bought one for her bathroom."
